The aim of this course is to enhance educator's and school staff's understanding of best practices in protecting and safeguarding learners.
Description:
The course will familiarize educators and school staff with best practices relating to protection and safeguarding of learners. Participants will learn about child protection legislation in the UAE and the procedures and protocols to be followed in order to ensure a safe learning environment. It will further develop their knowledge about different types of abuse, the signs and symptoms of abuse, and appropriate actions to be taken to protect learners.

LO2: Understand the importance of child protection and safeguarding learners in the learning environment.
